UManitoba Entrada Mobile App - User Guide

Learn more about the UofM Entrada Mobile app for learners and faculty.

Introduction

The UManitoba Entrada Mobile app is available for Android and iOS.

The app currently supports the following basic functionalities:

  • As a faculty or learner, complete assessments & evaluations that were already delivered

  • As a faculty or learner initiate new assessments on demand (excludes Smart Tag forms)

  • View learning events calendars

  • View notices

  • As a learner in a logbook enabled course/program, log new entries and view/edit previous entries

The mobile app does not currently support:

  • The ability for administrators to trigger tasks from the mobile app

  • The ability to delegate tasks

  • The ability to forward tasks

  • The ability to review completed assessments

  • The ability to complete Smart Tag forms

  • The ability to submit absence requests

Install the App

Install the app on your Android or iOS device:

  1. Open the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS/Apple) on your device.

  2. Search for "UManitoba Entrada Mobile". Ensure that your search does not auto-correct "Elentra".

  3. Install the app, or update to most recent release.

Logging in to the App

In order to log in to the mobile app, you will need to know:

  1. Your uManitoba learner/faculty or staff email (@umanitoba.ca/@myumanitoba.ca) and corresponding password.

Once you have these details:

  1. Open the UManitoba Entrada Mobile app on your device.

  2. Tap "Login with MFA". This will re-direct you to login with your UM credentials.

  3. Proceed with the SSO sign in process with Authenticator.

Important Note: No need to log out! The mobile app keeps you signed in by default to ensure a smooth experience.
